Personally, I prefer the photo option. It’s super-easy, is personal to you and is a useful way to monitor your progress in the medium term. Just don’t do it every day or even every week, otherwise you’ll be chasing daily goals that don’t mean much. It’s more important to focus on the medium term. I would always use the rule that it takes four weeks of sticking to your plan consistently to see any real change in your shape. You may experience results before this point, but if you don’t, don’t get deflated; everyone is different.
So the message is, stick with it for the long haul and fall in love with the process right now, instead of wanting results right now. Remember that the good stuff takes time. Don’t compare the speed of your progress to anyone else’s; they are not you. Just do you!
